The Law Office of Viviana Medina started as a home-based office in Westbury, New York. In 2012, it moved to the Sunshine State, where it currently operates from Kissimmee, Florida. It has been providing quality U.S. immigration services for more than a decade, striving to offer the most professional and personalized service to its clients. Ms. Medina and her staff truly care about each and every client, and go above and beyond to help clients obtain the best possible results in their cases. The office currently handles cases nationwide and also takes clients residing outside the United States interested in legally immigrating to this great country.
La Oficina Legal de Viviana Medina comenzó como en el hogar de su fundadora en Westbury, Nueva York. En el 2012, se mudó al Estado del Sol, desde donde opera actualmente en Kissimmee, Florida. Viviana Medina, a native of the Dominican Republic, graduated Summa Cum Laude from the prestigious Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra in 2001. She began her legal career in her home country, focusing on civil and business law. In 2003, she moved to the United States, first to New York City and later to Long Island, where she navigated the challenges often faced by immigrants.
By 2005, Ms. Medina was able to resume her legal profession, joining law firms specializing in immigration law. She embraced this field, finding a profound sense of purpose in serving her community through this noble occupation. After completing her credential validation in Louisiana, she proudly established The Law Office of Viviana Medina. From her base in Kissimmee, Florida, where she resides with her husband and two children, Ms. Medina now serves the immigrant community nationwide, even assisting clients outside the United States.
With 20 years of experience in immigration law and a Master of Arts degree in International Relations from Harvard University, Ms. Medina is well-equipped to represent clients before the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services and the Executive Office for Immigration Review (Immigration Court and Board of Immigration Appeals). She is a proud member of the Louisiana State Bar Association, the American Immigration Lawyers Association, the Harvard Alumni Association, the American Bar Association, and the Hispanic National Bar Association.
In her spare time, Ms. Medina enjoys theater, reading, watching movies, traveling, and spending quality time with her family.

Comenzó su carrera legal en su país natal, enfocándose en derecho civil y empresarial. Oscar E. Evo, Office Manager
Native of Honduras, Oscar Evo arrived in the United States during his early adolescence, residing at Queens and later at Long Island, New York. After successfully spending almost two decades as a business owner in the transportation industry, he relocated to the State of Florida, where he now lives with his wife and two children. He’s engaged in several businesses and, since 2015, works concurrently as office manager for the Law Office of Viviana Medina, being in charge of the office’s finances and administration. Additionally, Oscar is a notary public in the State of Florida, authorized to notarize documents and perform marriage ceremonies. In his spare time, Oscar likes to watch movies and travel.

Originario de Honduras, Oscar Evo llegó a los Estados Unidos en su temprana adolescencia, residiendo en Queens y posteriormente en Long Island, Nueva York. Stephany R. Medina, Senior Paralegal
Stephany Medina is the supervisor paralegal at the Law Office of Viviana Medina, LLC. Stephany was born in the Dominican Republic. She immigrated to the United States with her family when she was 16 years old. She earned her bachelor’s degree with honors in Business Administration from Turabo University in Puerto Rico.
Stephany has more than 10 years of experience working in the immigration field. She is familiar with both affirmative and defensive cases, but she is currently in charge of cases before the Immigration Court. In her free time, Stephany enjoys serving at her community.

Stephany tiene mas de 10 años de experiencia en el área de inmigración. Está familiarizada con casos afirmativos y defensivos, pero actualmente está a cargo de los casos pendientes ante la Corte de Inmigración. En su tiempo libre, Stephany disfruta servir en su comunidad.
Nancy Carolina Colom, Paralegal
Born in Peru, Carolina, as she prefers to be called, has a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Lima, Peru, and a certificate in paralegal studies from the University of Miami. She joined the Law Office of Viviana Medina in 2014 as a paralegal, being in charge of affirmative cases, such as family-based petitions, citizenship applications, inadmissibility waivers, work permit applications, asylum applications, and more. She is a Notary Public in the State of Florida. Carolina’s hobbies include running, kickboxing, reading, and watching movies.

Jalisha Gordon is an administrative assistant and translator at our Kissimmee location. She is currently a student at Valencia College. She is a sweet and brilliant young woman who loves reading and traveling. She is fluent in both English and Spanish and her goal is to help people get to where they hope to be.
